I have two computers hook up to a linksys wireless router. My girlfriend accesses wireless using her macbook.
Ever since college started, I've been getting the above message and have occasionally had difficulty accessing the internet. I've reset my router and modem. What could be causing this?

I have an hp-pavillion 760n and lately its been randomly shutting down. This is just one problem out of many but the most annoying at this point. I ran disc cleanup and defragmentor and that didnt help. I cant restore it to before when it wasnt doing it because System Restore isnt working for an unknown reason. I have errors popping up but invalid pictures or files and this morning once I restarted the computer again... there were a good 20 volume screens up. Thanks very much for any help you can give and just for reading it.

What is a good free .3g2 converter? It needs to be free and convert all the video needs to be converted. If its a free trail of a program and it converts all of a video, thats fine. I just need a free .3g2 converter that converts all of a video, not just 2 minutes of it.

I know about booter and scrolls and stuff like that but what the heack happen did someone booted me form the game and ban me from loggin in or did the put something on my computer or did yahoo put something on my computer and if so how to remove it off from my computer if they did.

I have dial up service with Earthlink, and I just bought a new Dell Inspiron 1501 computer from Dell. The thing takes about at least over a minute or more to log on to a link or something else while on the internet. This is way way too slow for a computer with duo core technology and a speedy AMD Athlon 64x2 TK 53 processor.
What is happening, and what can be done? My old computer works fine and processes things on the web very fast. Any thoughts on this matter will be appreciated.

Hi I have a Dell Dimension C521 Nvidia Gforce 6150 AMD 64 Processor and I had to wipe my drive clean and rebuild but I am having trouble with my drivers. I installed all but one which is a PCI Device. What is that? And where can I find a driver for it? The Dell website doesn't have it and I've tried Windows Update but no luck. I can't get any sound of it so I'm thinking that's what it is. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I had my site designed professionally in 2004. I now want to sell this website... but... there are things on my web design contract that I totally missed and I think might get in the way.

Here is what is says:

Does this mean I can't profit from his design without tipping him off? Or I can't sell the domain as is because he owns the design and I have to tip him off or something? I don't know I'm really confused.

I am in the process of deciding to buy a lap top and have been advised I should get one with Windows XP so that it is compactable with my old programmes and Printer. My Printer was purchased in 2003 it is a Epson Stylus Photo 830 and our microsoft office programme is XP. However if I am not restricted by XP it would open up more options for me.

Yah, it's Vista Home Basic yah, and Cisco VPN 5.0.00.0340 It installs and opens up fine, but just won't connect, giving me an error:

Reason 412: The remote peer is no longer responding.

But it is, and works fine with a different laptop.

Every 5-10 seconds, my mouse suddenly freezes. I can't move it or click something or use the scroll. Everytime this happens, the red light is still on. My computer detects the mouse. I already cleaned it. Now what am I supposed to do???

I have a question about a 2-D array of buttons.

I defined 9 buttons and I defined a 2-D array of buttons and I put these 9 buttons to the 2-D array of button;

JButton [] [] Buttons = {{button1, button2, button3},

{button4, button5, button6},

{button7, button8, button9}};


And now I can change the text of button1 in this way:

Button1.setText (“some thing”);

But I can not change it in this way:


for(int i=0 ; i<3 ; i++){

if (Board[i][0]+Board[i][1]==8 && Board[i][2]==0){

Board[i][2] = 4;

Buttons[i] [2].setText("O");

return;

}

}

Why? And what should I do if I want to change the button’s text through the array ?

Okay, I bought a brand new acer desktop, preloaded with vista home premium. I got it up and running went throuh all the stuff, and tried to connect to the internet. I have a wireless router at home and it works fine ( I have a laptop and I can connect to the internet right next to my desktop with my laptop. When I try to diagnose the problem, it gives me a message saying I don't have a wireless network adapter installed and configured. Please help, without the internet that desktop is almost worthlesss.

I have a compaq presario SR1503WM
Built in cd burner and dvd reader.
I run windows XP home edition

I have a extra bay in the front so I would like to get a internal DVD burner - need to stay sort of cheap on this also.

What do I need to know before I head off to look at them?

A friend of mine said to get a light scribe - do I really need that? Or is there a cheaper one just to burn them to disc?

I am making backup copies of my personal collection - not pirate stuff.
