Problems with PCI Device?

Hi I have a Dell Dimension C521 Nvidia Gforce 6150 AMD 64 Processor and I had to wipe my drive clean and rebuild but I am having trouble with my drivers. I installed all but one which is a PCI Device. What is that? And where can I find a driver for it? The Dell website doesn't have it and I've tried Windows Update but no luck. I can't get any sound of it so I'm thinking that's what it is. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I don't the original disks that came with the desktop with me.

I tried to update my driver through the device manager but no luck though.

Look at the back panel. Check out what are connected to the PCI openings. It will give you an idea whether it is a soundcard (connects to the speakers), network adapter (connects to the network or DSL modem), tuner (connects to cable or aerial antenna), etc. Then you would need to identify the maker of the PCI card so that you could download the driver from their website.

You can go into Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Device Manager. Once you are in there it will show you what devices are having problems. Select a problem device then right click and select update driver. This will take you through another dialog box section, and it should be able to go out to the Microsoft website and find the drivers if it doesn't find them somewhere on your computer.

you can find any other device which is unknown and update the necessary drivers.
1. Windows Logo+R then the run dialog will appear
2. type "devmgmt.msc" then click run or press enter
3. when the Device manger opens, right click on unknown device then update driver. if the driver files are not availabe,
