Does anyone know how do I get to the stored data that is keyed into my laptop? Like where do i find it at?

I'm trying to figure out where can I find the data that is stored on my laptop....I have a gateway computer and im trying to see if it has the data that i typed stored into it, but where do i find it at?

That request makes no sense. Please clarify.

While a keyboard would have a small "buffer" to keep stuff you type in and send it to the computer, it's typically a couple characters only, and are sent as fast as it is capable of to the PC. It is not "stored" in the keyboard per se.

If you mean you typed up a document, saved it, but you forgot how you named it and where it is, you need a file search utility, or just do start / find / files and see what you can find.
