and windows vista basic 1st q is cache what is it what does it do and is 4mb good 2q if i have basic vista can i update to another OS of vista latter on 3 it only has 526 MB of ram will it be slow i no i can by more ram but what makes a quick computer hard drive is 160gbs is it a bigger hd or a better processor or more ram im on a budget and cold spend another £120 what do you recomend to add tocomputer to go quicker my main use of computer will be to down load filles of music and video

I need to boot Ubuntu from a partition of my hard drive, but its in the form of an iso... if needed i can expand it to the partition. But it would be better if i could boot it as an iso. Im quite good at computers, so if i needed to for say... add something to the boot menu, just say what i would need to add and etc...

I'm trying to build my own computer for the first time and I'm a bit confused about which power supply should I go for. The board and case are both ATX and my question is, will a ATX12V power supply fit in a ATX case or work with a ATX board?

Using easypix Photo viewer from cd not hard disk as that said there were no photos, i'm in E:drive-pictures-0604414 large folder but it says when i make the changes to "save" not "save as "so i do , but then it won't accept it ,it says there is no path found...can someone walk me through this i don't know where to turn.....

Good example is why is it called Wikipedia and the answer is in wikipedia if you look for it. Yahoo answers should take points away for such questions as that. Hmm maybe some people will get negative points and not be able to do anything. Oh wait that would mean that someone would have to take responsabilty for themselves and that isn't how its done now adays.

So my internet wasnt working for 2 days.. the sbc dsl modem was working, but my Netgear router wasnt working properly.. so I tried fixing it and my wireless internet started working again.. but I noticed I only get 5.5 mbps and at times 11, but I dont know how much I used to get since I didn't pay attention to it.. my Netgear router says it gets 54 mbps and my brother also uses wireless internet and gets 5.5 as well. Is something wrong with my router or is 5.5 mbps how much I usually get..?

Ok my bf lives with his mom and his mom is the type of parent that does not let their kids date until there 16 and hes 13 same as me. Hes the only person right now that makes me feel im wanted. i love him so much and i cant explain it. and his mom knows that hes dating me cuz she has a myspace and seen that im his # 1 and the comments i sent him sayin i love him. and every time i call him he gets in trouble and every time that he doesnt take me of his #1 he gets in trouble. he does not know if he want to keep getting in troble so he can se me or jest break it of so he can get some freedom. i dont know wat to do ither

I can't get rid of the several BROADCASTING channels(FOX, PBS, ABC...) that are on top of my TV listings. PLEASE DON'T SAY TRY EDIT. I'VE ALREADY DONE THAT. I'VE EMAILED YAHOO AND THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Do you guys have these several channels on top of your listings that won't go away?

Next, I switched providers for my TV listings and added some channels from my new provider to the TV listings. When I switched back to the old provider, all the channels from the new provider were still there. And now it looks like a mess. The channels from both providers are on there. How do I get rid of the channels?

Is anyone else fed up with this "new and improved" "BETA" TV listings? How can I (or we) communicate to Yahoo our displeasure without getting a stupid recorded email from a machine?

And can I have tv listings from other sites (like zap2it)directly on my Yahoo! homepage instead of the Yahoo TV listings?
