Im selling my laptop and want to get rid of all the deleted data on the disk which I believe can be restored. How do I do it, with what? and can I do it for free?

Hello. I have a machine project at college about making a relational database in SQL with Java. The situation of the database is that there is a recruitment agency for nurses. The nurses are either trained or ready for work and something like that. The queries are that you should be able to keep track of how many nurses are in a certain hosptial etc.The case is quite common and simple. However , my professor held a seminar on how to apply Java in our SQL project and sadly I wasn't able to attend it. Please tell me , is Java really a complicated and big issue as stated in my machine problem?

Just moved into a new house near an airport and got roadrunner, cable, and digital phone installed at the same time. Not sure if planes or the airport itself would cause vibration in monitor, or if it is the new cable. Was not doing this before. Any ideas?

I always use Limewire Pro all the time for 2 and a half years now and I have McAfee Suite 2007. Am I vulnerable to any attacks? So far, I don't seem to have a problem with viruses or trojans or worms. and my anti-virus is always updated daily, too. hope my concern is clear. thank you!

I have a 2wire 2701HG-B running wireless internet throughout the house. It works fine, but in some places you cant get signal. I also have a netgear wireless router just laying around. Is there anyway i could get the netgear router to receive the 2wire signal, and then have it also relay wireless throughout the house? Anyhelp would be appreciated.

I'm creating a presentation in PowerPoint. I have a simple line chart. The chart shows prices on the vertical axis and time on the horizontal axis, with one data item per month.

I'd like to animate it so that the line is drawn over a period of seconds: first January, then Feb, then March, then April, etc.

I think the way to do it is via Custom Animation / Entrance - Box / Effect Options / Chart Animation / Group chart. I'm now looking for Elements in Series, but I only see As One Object, By Series, By Category.

Any suggestions?

Is there a way to upload photos without using iPhoto? I like it, I don't trust it, and I want to be in charge of my own organization. I'm looking into alternative programs, but in the meantime I really want to keep the photos separate from iPhoto. Is that possible?

When a bit really signifies a 1 or a 0 (a yes or a no) rather than a + or a - (positive or negative), how is the 0 registered? Is there a certain amount of time in which some input has to be made, otherwise the computer registers a 0? Please describe as many possible ways in which this might work.

Hello all, I run a non profit making internet radio station www.realhitradio.co.uk and are looking to revamp my website. I originally made my site on a free website builder, but think its time for a change, and not being all that website/html literate, thought I would get a designer to do it.
