I've met quite a few people online and made a few real-life friendships, but also a lot of trouble and hurt has come out of it- online bullying, people just stopping talking to me for no reason, rumours and seeing bad things going on like affairs.
What's your opinions/experiences?

I am looking into purchasing the P5N32-E SLI or Striker Extreme motherboard from Asus, but can someone please first tell me how I am supposed to fit it into my chassis? Does it require cutting?

Is there any software which can convert speech to text?? I have come across dictaphones and transcription kits in my research on the issue. Of which i guess dictaphones are not the ones as it will just help play back the recording with some controls so that typing is made easier. But i dont want to type....imagine typing up a recording of upto 2 or 3 hours!
May be transcription kit is the answer but im not really sure. Dont wanna invest in some useless stuff.
Please help.

I received an email in my Windows Live Hotmail telling me that my Fidelity case is not working out as planned. That the officials are not going to comply, and that I need to respond to a email he provides so I can have a password? I dont even know what Fidelity is, nor do I have a "case" with whatever Fidelity is?? In the email it contained alot of weird names like "Comoginevi" and odd names like "Ravingeri" and the message kept on saying this took place in Nigeria?? What?? Has this happend to any one else? Is this email fraud or contains a virus? I am lost

I've just bought a GENUINE upgrade copy of Windows Vista Home Premium. Currently, I have Windows XP Home edition. During installation it asks me for my product key, and after I enter it, it just says "Your product key cannot be validated". I refuse to purchase another one because this should work!

Is this even possible. I am going to get a mac pro soon, but i need it to occasionally run windows. I am looking in to the one with 4 Cores because the 8 Core is overkill for what i need. Would i have to run the professional version due to the dual Xeons? If this is not possible due to the CPU layout, then i will just get an iMac.

When I turn on my CPU, all of the fans work and the floppy lights up but my monitor displays a message, "No signal". The CD/DVD & CD/RW drives do not work. I have checked all the connections, have dis/re-connected the monitor & all the drives but still nothing.

These are my specs:

-Asus Striker Extreme nForce 680i SLI Socket 775 1333MHz DDR2-800 ATX Motherboard
-Intel® Core 2 Duo E6700 Processor 2.67GHz
-OCZ 2GB Kit DDR2 PC2-8500 SLI™-Ready Memory
-Western Digital 500GB SATA 3.0Gb/s hdd
-Western Digital 160 GB ATA hdd from 1st CPU
- OCZ SLI™-Ready 850W Active PFC PSU
-Sony 3.5 Internal Floppy Disk Drive

I didn't realize that I had not purchased a vid card but I used the vid card from my 1st CPU which is: PNY Verto GeForce FX 5500

All but hdd and vid card from 1st CPU are new but these works fine. I have read many posts about defective/incompatible and fried mobos, CPUs, vid cards, & ram but I don't think this is my problem; I think it is the IDE setup. Any advice?

I want to be able to run my desktop onto an external monitor. I have found the Samsung SyncMaster 216bw for a reasonable price but it only has two inputs, DVI-D and D-Sub (for the pc in). I want to know if anyone knows anything that will interface things like a DVD player or XBOX into the DVI-D slot so I can use it as a TV monitor as well. Also, if there is any better way to run TV into the monitor, other than using a PC TV box and running it off the PC. Any information relating to how DVI-D works or any suggestions would be so GREATLY appreciated. Thank you

SO BASICALLY WHAT I MEAN IS THAT I SAVE EVERYTHING I DOWNLOAD ONTO MY THUMB DRIVE TO SAVE SPACE, SO I DON'T HAVE TO SAVE IT DIRECTLY ON MY COMPUTER HARD DRIVE. BUT WHEN I DOWNLOAD SOMETHING IT SAYS THAT THE FILE HAS BEEN COPIED INTO A FOLDER IN MY COMPUTER SOMETHING LIKE THIS "C:/USERS/___/OT552PII3..."

AND WHEN I CHECK MY HARD DRIVE STATUS, THE SPACE CAPACITY GOES DOWN. SO BASICALLY I'M STILL DOWNLOADING THINGS INTO MY COMPUTER, WHICH DEFEATED THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF BUYING A THUMB DRIVE.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIND THAT FOLDER IN MY COMPUTER SO I CAN DELETE THE FILES THERE!!!!

IT HIDES THE WHOLE ADDRESS OF WHERE THE FILE IS, AND WHEN I GO TO USERS AND ALL THE FOLDER ISN'T THERE...IS IT A HIDDEN FOLDER?? AND I HAVE A VISTA SO IT MAKES EVERYTHING A BIT MORE COMPLICATED...

1st time i started my brand new laptop up i got this message before xp had even loaded:checking file system C type of file FAT32

one of your disks needs to be checked for consistancy

Also it keeps turning off by its self dont think its over heating as fan isnt on some of the time when it turns off. i have it plugged in mains and says full battery.thisas i have said is new out the box is it major? Many thanks or any help :-(

The screen resolution 1024 x 768 is no longer holding steady but is expanding beyond the screen meaning that features such as scroll bar on right is not accessible and favourites is partly hidden on left.

This is a sudden problem eventhough I've used this setting for years. All other settings from 800 x 600 up to 1280 x 1024 work fine.

What is causing that?

Hello,
Want to make a chore list for me and my husband where my husband and my names will alternate for each task:
will I list each chore on the left...then can it automatically alternate our names?.....if you have a better idea or any help, I'd appreciate it.....infact, you might be saving my marraige, thanks.
If there is anyway to do the minor choes daily, then larger chores only on weekends, like mow lawn and mop floor, that would be great.
Daily would be dishes, make bed, etc....
