I have tryed to make yahoo my main page using "tools.internet options,general tab. current, apply and ok" ?

no success making Yahoo my main page, why?

Right after General Tab you (assuming Internet Explorer) will see a button that says "Use Current". If you are on the Yahoo page and then click that, followed by OK., then you are all set.

Firefox needs the exact same thing but the heading names are a speck different. It also ends with "Use Current Page" and OK.

don't know why but if you still want to make Yahoo! your home page, there is this little button on yahoo.com which makes Yahoo! your home page
