Last night I turned it off to disconect my tower and move it to another room. When I reconnected everything it only had a green light flashing in the back. No power to anything else. It worked before I turned it off. No sounds or clicking or beeps. Just a green light flashing in the back. Am I not connecting something right? HELP! Thanks

I'm just curious if I was the only one having all these "login" problems. I think today I'm just going to switch over all my favorites to Firefox and be done with IE.

Are there any webpages that don't work with Firefox?
The problems I was having were logging into game sites such as bigfish games and my daughter's neopets... a few others that I can't remember, oh the vidoes were a problem before.

Any info on the differences would be great. Thanks.

Oh yeah, and Firefox has the old Yahoo Toolbar, which is great, now my whole family can have their own toolbar back with their own login, rather than having to log in and out of Microsoft! Big Smile!!!

before with no helpful answer.Why can I not open an e-mail sent to me that contains a file ?? When I click on the file, I rec. a box that says...save or cancel....no place to click on ...open.
Does my e-mail need upgraded ? If u answer, please use simple easy to follow directions as I know little about computer terms. I can open attachments and photos, but not files. Why?? I have a HP comp with Windows XP. I have not changed my e-mail to beta format. Please help.

hello
let me tell you what i know and what i am going to learn :
i am currently in grade 10 i am taking computer hardware i do know how to use turbo pascal . and now i am currently learning about logic gates (And, OR , Xor, Nor) and next year i am going to learn C++ language... so do i have enough information to make my first robot using turbo pascal and gates. and if you would be so kind would you tell me how to make a basic robot.. please... i just wanted to ask if you can please tell me how to make a basic robot with logic gates and turbopascal and using house stuff. and motor from electric car.. etc..

I'm in a different town, and I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but whenever I try to sign in to Myspace, it wont let me sign in! I mean, it doesnt say "You must be logged in to do that" like if I had typed in the wrong password, but it just goes back to the sign in place. And when I tried to make a new account with my other email address, it said something like " theres been an error". So I need some help! Thank you

I have just bought a new computer and have been left with the task of transferring all the files from my old laptop, to my new pc. I have been told that the best way to do this is to set up a home network, but I'm having a bit of trouble doing this. Any help would be appreciated, either advice for the network setup, or for perhaps a different way to transfer all my old data.

If it helps, my setup is as follows:
New pc has Windows Vista and built in wireless internet, and of course I have a wireless router for this. My laptop has the previous version of windows, am using a USB dongle for wireless internet access. I also have network cables if they are needed.
Please help me! :)

I keep getting kicked back off, using external wireless card, I tried the "repair" renewing ip addy thing but doesnt help- could it be that the wireless card is gone bad? I have had it for a few years and it was a cheap one.

The drive is a Benq Atapi DVD+RW. When I open My Computer, I can't even see the DVD drive itself. I'm not sure what I need to do now. Do I need to find the software driver online to download? If so, where could I find that? I've tried to find it but to no avail. I appreciate it.
