I have the microsoft office package for my new computer...it came with it...but it asks for the product key every time i try to get on

it says the product key is the 25 numbers that are written out on the letter that came with the pack

the thing is, i didnt buy a microsoft office pack separately...it came pre-installed into the computer...could any1 answer why or could you direct me to a site that could answer for me?

I'm using windows XP. My computer is running rather slow and I've done all the basic cleaning as well as scan disk and defrag and that hasn't helped much. I've never cleaned my registry and I imagine there are quite a few mistakes in there although I don't know what they are. I'm looking for a good free registry cleaner that will clean it and also fix the errors it finds.

I have recently purchased some anti-virus software(McAfee) and haven't been able to install it because my previous software (F-Secure) refuses to uninstall!! I've tried everything, but what p***** me off the most is that when I go through the control panel to add/remove programs it does nothing to remove this program no message nothing!(I've also done system restorations and nothing). I got the F-Secure for free of of the microsoft website, so I doubt it is a virus or whatever, anyway:

This is my problem...i need to use 2 matrixes, for fast information channels...in my algorithm. I can declare one of them in a program. If i declare both, then the program crashed (apparently due to some windows xp mem limit per program. When i declare 1 matrix in one program, but another in another program, and try to run both...i just get an error message saying that my page file is too small...so if i run this on a better computer, i'd be able to declare both matricies at once from two places. Now, i need to make the first program communicate with the second.
I want the first program to declare a matrix/array...get the memory address for the first element of the array, and length, and send that info through a text file to the other program...that would then take that number...load it into a pointer, and view the matrix without declaration. But this isn't working, why not?

Regarding my Virtual Villagers game:

I clicked on options for the game, clicked "Off" Full Screen so that I could keep an eye on my villagers while I worked (Yea, teach me to mix pleasure with work, huh?).
Suddenly the game went freaky on me.
First box says "Failed initializing DirectDraw. Only 16-bit and 32-bit displays are supported by windowed mode." w/an "Okay" button.
Hit okay button and up pops "Could not open display. Error code=0xc8660110" w/an "Okay" button.
Hit okay button and up pops "send error report" yadda yadda yadda.
What I'd like to know is how do I get my game back. I've rebutted, clicked on game, and only get the previouse "error" boxes. I've reloaded the game from Yahoo, but, again, got the "error" boxes. I've even tried to turn back time so I could smack my stupid self before I even thought of touching that "Off" option, but, turns out, I'm not Superman.
So, any suggestions?
Or am I screwed?
Please help!

I am ask to upload a photo to my profile on my Members page,I upload the photo yet it goes to my Yahoo!Photos page,and then I am asked to hit the select button and the photo will be automatically added to my profile in my Yahoo!Members page.I can't find the select button.The only one I find is select photos button and it only takes the photo to my photo albums.

Hi, i am about to build a computer. In my old computer i just put in a seagate 160gb 7200 rpm ultra ata drive and then installed windows by recovery discs. If i put that drive in the new system would it be genuine, also would it work? And what application do you run before taking drive out to erase all drivers.

My defrag will not complete the task. It will only get to 2-3 %. I have rebooted, left it on all night, deleted unnecessary files, cookies, etc. No matter what I have done, it still doesn't get past the 3 %. What else can I do? Will this affect the usage of the computer as far as speed. I have always been told to defrag. It was set for automatic, but it isn't able to defrag the system.
