How do you set AOL Messenger to show you as "invisible" when you sign on? (Mac User)?

I take it you have a PC then, Webwriter? Hmm.. I can't find an "eye" on mine. :( Anyone out there with a Mac?

Download Adium X. It's a great IM client. Supports tons of IM services, including AIM.

in the version I have, when the messenger logs in, there is a little eyeball just above the friends list. If you click that eye, it will close and you will be invisible.

I don't think you can with the Mac version, but you could look for it in Edit options or in Preferences.
