My friends computer had this, but he did'nt know how or who did it. But, he would have videos in a folder, and when you single click on them, the video would appear in a small window on the left side of the folder. I was wondering how you do that. Is it a program or command I need to type in?

None of that worked. It just changed a few things, but there was no video that appeared.

Right click on the folder and go to Properties.

Then click on the Customize tab.

At the top it says:

Use this folder type as a template:
[drop down menu]

Select Videos.

Open my computer click on click on tools on the menu bar & click on folder options under the folder tasks put a check on show common tasks in folders.

This will fix your issue of preview on the left side & if you want preview instead of the file icons in the right. Then simply open my computer click on view on the menubar & check thumbnails.
