I installed yahoo messenger and couldn't get past the smut, Don't get me wrong I like smut as much as the next guy, But I was hoping to really meet people. Any suggestions where to go ?

I would like to be able to run Windows Vista Premium when available..To do so I need to upgrade my GPU what is a descent card that will run Windows Vista Premium Aero Glass? It has to be AGP interface. I don't want to purchase a real expensive card due to the fact that it will not suport DirectX 10.

I have a laptop I used several years ago with an old Yahoo email account (an account I no longer use and is closed). Is there any place that saves information like that on my computer where I could possibly find email addresses I used, or a Messenger name? Is there anywhere I can look in my computer? Any ideas at all???

My computer is really messed up and I'm trying to find some really good anti-virus program(s) and something that'll remove and prevent spyware as well. I've had McAffee and in the past and I wasn't thrilled with it. I downloaded a trial version of eAcceleration's Stop Sign and it seems good, it found a trojan that my AVG Free version didn't. I've also heard of a program called NOD 32 and heard that is was good. I've heard Norton is good, but not the best. If you have any suggestions or reccomendations, I would appreciate them. Thank you for your help!

i feel the internet providers must be breaking the law, either cival or criminal, by passing on malware which reaks havoc with our p.c.s. I would appreciate any _positive_ feedback on this. We must have some rights left as americans. Remember ;positive feedback only. please run this by any attorney or lawschool student you can. how can i start a lobbying effert to get these actions made illegal? we can't stop co.s in other countrys to stop sending this stuff but we need to hold the isp.s in the us. responsible and accountable for failing to filter this computer wrecking content from ever reaching us. i'm considering a blog to collect and disseminate this information I suffer from dementia so i might be mistaken about all of this. i know, however that the last place our stuff comes to us from is our isp...

Let's have the solution to this one! What do I need to do to get my web page thumbnail pictures when enlarged to look as I want when shown on IE, FireFox, Opera,Netscape etc. All the Internet browsers differ. I have used javascript for the pictures, CSS for the design and html for content and layout.
But why o why wont the site display at least similarly on all browsers? HELP !

That doesn't respond on bootup i have a pentium 3 MB +cpu i would like to put in to test but am not sure if the power supply of the pentium 2 will power the pentium 3MB +cpu? The server is a Procom 28 scsi cd-rom server? it powers 28 scsi cd-rom + 4 large fans to cool unit down as well as a harddrive, floppy drive? Any Help Would be Greatly appreciated..?

Ok so when I start up the pc on the lower righthand side there's an icon that says "safely remove hardware" and if you open it up, it says "USB mass storage device." I am not sure if that has anything to do with it, but the comp is not recognizing that my camera is plugged in. Normally the camera wizard pops up. I have tried "removing" the hardware, restarting the computer, plugging into different usb ports, and nothing is working. The same usb works fine to update my ipod, but nothing for the camera. Please help, this is driving me nuts!!
