You can try Ebay, but if you want a laptop in good shape I suggest Dell or any other known computer manufacturer

I don't know about the cheapest place on the Internet but if you want to be able to sleep at night and not having any future problems visit your area's computer shops, compare prices and get the one you like best and you can afford. This way, you know where to go if you have any problems with your purchase. Saving ten or fifty bucks it's not worth it. Another thing you can do is to go to www.pcworld.com and search in their Reviews of laptops, do your homework first and then go get the one you think is best for you.
Good luck
