I installed yahoo messenger and couldn't get past the smut, Don't get me wrong I like smut as much as the next guy, But I was hoping to really meet people. Any suggestions where to go ?

I have read many of your questions and the answers you've received. I personally don't think you need the Internet to meet new people.
However, if your really looking for interesting people on the Internet or anywhere else..it requires some amount of effort. Don't let the smutt put you off.....there are some really wonderful peeps out there. With a personality like yours , you should have no problems finding decent friends.

Stay in Regional rooms. China and Hong Kong chat are very clean with friendly and intelligent people. Once in a while you might get a freak. Just ignore him.
