Well you have couple options Either buy rewritable CD or buy Nero software. I actually tried the software and it is not very efficient so I don't know if you have a lot of choice other than buying rewritable CD

Good Luck!

Once a CD has been written to, the information is permanently on there. The only CDs that can be "erased" are CD read/writes, but doing so doesn't guarantee success and can ruin the disc.

If you want to burn data to a blank CD, the CD will need to be formatted for data. This process is fairly straightforward on Windows and completely invisible on OS X. If you have a CD-RW, you can quickly erase any data on it using each operating system's formatting tools

You can't re-format a CD. Only a CD-R.

Check your CD first. If it is a CD-RW (which stands for re-writable), then yes, you can "re-write" over the information. It's not technically called erasing ;-)

Nope. Can't be done unless it's a CD-RW disc.

you can't do it to just a normal cd.
it has to be a re-writable cd (CD-RW).
use Nero to erase.
