This will get you in! Start computer in 'Safe Mode", go to "User accounts" in the control panel and open a new "Administrator" account with all privileges. You can add a new password or not, depending on your security requirements.
This will only work in "Safe Mode"!

try this...it might work...it is supposed to work on 2000....maybe xp
if u cant get pass the password..u will have to reinstall windows
maybe the computer has a restore drive
turn on pc..as soon as u start it..tap either f10 or f11 ...if it has a recovery partition..u will see it pretty fast..if u do..just follow instuctions and reboot pc the way it was bought

Tap on f8 then chose safe mode ......start ...control panel ....users account .....pick an account to change. This will work I have used this before.


start tapping as soon as you turn the lap top on.

Well i hope you got a reformating CD.... I would use that as a last resort.. Or perhaps for a nominal fee you can order a reformat cd... good luck..

load the pc in safemode then use the amin account to login then reset the password on the account

did you try hitting "enter" or "cancel"? (without adding a pswd)
