How can you turn a long URL into something like "click here."

you type the word, hilight it, and click the hyperlink button on your toolbar at the top of the page. Then in that, you type the URL and make sure the work is right!

I don't know what program you're working with, but in good ol' Notepad it goes something like this:

click here

Just replace what's inside the quotation marks with your URL, and in a browser it should show up as a simple "click here" link.

I can see in my preview that my browser's trying to make some of my example into a link; just ignore that.

Type a word, hightlight it, press CTL + K. Put in the link you want.
