I'm running windows ME, and everyone says it's the worst windows to have. and i beliveit. i have so many problems i've become immune to restarting the computer twice before i can do anything.
How do I upgrade to XP? What do i need to know to not mess up my comp? like a steb-by-step proccess? and will i lose all my information, like files and pictures, and software?

someone i know has a thing on their toolbar where you can disable any html on a page. anyone know what it its called? or where I can find it?

well maybe it's not called disabling html but I just know that if someone has codes (like color/font) that this thing on the toolbar will disable all that.

When I do a search for repair DLL loads of sites come up - but once I've downloaded the tool it reveals all the problems but then asks for the money to fix them - does any know of a truly free site. A virus has attacked some files and I can't get into certain programmes even to uninstall!

about a year and a half ago i bought a dell inspiron 1200 and its battery wore off before it had a year since its purchase!! So, i'm about to buy a new one and i don't want the same thing to happen, what is the best way to take care of my notebook regarding the batery? Should i unplug it once it's charged? Or when im using it for several hourse should it remain plugged?? Thanks!

A few weeks ago, iTunes told me that I had to download a new version, so I did. Everything worked great until I ran a virus scan. Ever since then I haven't been able to open iTunes. I have downloaded it over and over, but I don't want to uninstall it because I don't want to delete all the music I bought. Do you have any advice?

My laptop is pretty new however, after a year in Iraq with my soldier husband, all of the spyware and i'm sure one or two virus', windows won't start up... so I need to reformat the harddrive to when we first got it out of the box. I do have the recovery disk but it has a built in wireless card so I need to make sure that will run. Thanks
