My laptop is pretty new however, after a year in Iraq with my soldier husband, all of the spyware and i'm sure one or two virus', windows won't start up... so I need to reformat the harddrive to when we first got it out of the box. I do have the recovery disk but it has a built in wireless card so I need to make sure that will run. Thanks

You dont have to reformat anything, Just pop in the restore CD's or when you restart your pc you have that option. Make sure you save any wanted files onto CD's first

It depends on the model, but you can go to Start>control panel> and afterwards it varies by operating system, but you can restore your computer. I hope I helped! If that doesn't work, you can just install some anti-spyware and anti-virus programs.

yeah i would advise formatting the machine and reloading windows, best idea is to read the manual on how to use the recovery cd.
normally put cd in restart laptop and follow the prompts.
