What can I use beside a laptop to write a story?

I have many ideas that just pop into my head at any time. I don't care about connecting t the internet or anything, just some pocket electrinc with a form of word or a place to write notes. My cell takes too long, I need something with a a keyboard of each letter for fast writing. What do I need? Please help!

internet explorer cannot open this webpage?

OS is win xp home sp 2 i.e. 7
when i open a page i've saved as HTML in My Documents, the page opens for a second or less then is replaced by a page with this notice: internet explorer cannot open this webpage and a lot of information that does me no good! oddly, i was able to print the page from windows explorer.
also, Front Page will open the saved email page but won't print it out right. M.S. Word can't open the saved page - not sure about Word Perfect.

I've lost both my password and the answer to my secret question for my email. i know everything else!?

i know all the other account information, but i dont know my password or the answer to my secret question. is there any other way to get my account back? the account name is jhoward913@yahoo.com. PLEASE HELP ME! :-( this is my business account and i need it to make money, but i made the password something odd so i wouldnt forget it. and guess wut!?! i forgot :-( anyone know another way i can get into my acct?

help with instant messanger?

Okay first of all, i have dial up internet, don't tell me to update casue I can't. I used to have an aim, but then my mom canceled it cause she thought it was taking up to much of my time. Well, now that Im older she doesnt care if I get on again. When ever I sign on to go to www.aim.com the page pops up, doesn't load or anything and then just disappears. I have that pop up blocker thing, and i put www.aim.com on the list to allow. But it still does it. How can i get aim back on my computor again? And I have two computors. I have yahoo on one, but not on the other. I want to download yahoo on this one, but I don't want like the yahoo toolbar thing. I just need the instant messanger. How do I do that?

How to burn a 703MB file on a 702MB disk?

I have a video file that i want to write to cd using my very regular cd-writer. However, the video takes one single MB extra than the cd's volume... Is there any recommended way to overcome this problem?
Btw i did come across the "overburn" option in nero, however it's filled with warnings about harming the cd and the cd-rw.. plus i don't need any more than 1mb extra.
So, what should i do about it?

How do i get more memory on my computer?

The girl that answered my prior ? said this and all of a sudden something popped up on my pc and said that so how do ou get more memory. My computer is going to slow cause it isn't the internet cause i have the highest speed of cable net.

Someone help me. I need very simple steps in helping my computer go faster cause i don't know too much about computers.

so hacked off, I have a question for a computer geek no want to be's please?

Is there anything better than windows or even microsoft? I've been using xp pro on a Dell dimension desktop. I bought it new two weeks ago and it crashed the first time I installed xp pro and now it's in a slow crash since windows update poped in.

Can you upgrade a computer online or how is it you do that?

See i have the highest speed of cable internet yet my computer is still slow. It is like i am on dial-up. What could be wrong with my computer? I have defraged, cleaned disk and all of that so what does it need? It is a hp pavilion..It is about i guess 3 years old. Plus can someone tell me how i can add virus software free to it too?

i've reached the limit of my RAM, what else can I do??

I've reached the max limit that my laptop holds for RAM. It only holds 384 (a 2001 laptop). What else can I do to make my computer run more smoothly. When i first got it, it had Windows ME but I updated to XP a couple months ago. Is there anything else i can do to make my computer run smoothly and fast?
