Some of my scanned slides are identical but have different file names. I have thousands. Is there a programme which will identify duplicate images with different file names.

Hi all I am looking for someone who can help me out. I have a gateway laptop computer and my PERIOD key popped off and I am needing to get it to get it popped back on the back is not broke nothing is broken but gateway wants to charge me 300 bucks to replace one key or to replace the whole keyboard and motherboard with it. just for one key. can someone please help me or IM me on yahoo messenger my name on there is angel_leea96. I travel frequently and usually use the wireless interenet offered in most hotels. I'd appreciate links to articles on how I can surf safely. Also, your tips would be appreciated as well.

By the way, I frequently book flights and hotel rooms while I'm on the road...and I want to keep my info secure.

The problem is, I have very very low hard drisk space. And disk cleanup, removing programs, is not helping. I even deleted a 4 GB game installed onto my computer to save space. Help me!

How do I erase everything on my computer and start clean? Can I get back all of my hard disk space, as it was when first purchased?

The Standby option is disabled in Windows Media Center edition.How can i enable it? The standby option is not at all seen in the power options dialogue.The standby option is disabled in the shutdown dialogue also.Iam using it in a laptop.

I have windows xp. The internet explorer small icon on the bottom of the screen in the task bar suddenly disappeared. How do I get it back there? I wanted to defragment my C drive today, and i haven't done it before. I've only used the defragment feature for removable disks, and that usually works smoothly for me.
Then it said there were error and i needed to skandisk and repair problems, then try to defragment it again.
I used scandisk, and it restarted 10 times, said there were programs running that were writting on C drive and i needed to stop those programs. what programs? How would I go about stopping these programs for the time that i'm doing this? I didn't have any open windows, and everything was off my toolbar because explorer caused an error and shutdown when i was trying to defragment the first time. all i had on my toolbar was the time. what should i do now? i restarted and the computer is running the same as usual now, but i'd still like to clean up my C drive.

Don't know how it happened, but the spell check on my computer (Microsoft Word) is completely disable. Under Tools, then Options, the Spelling and Grammer tab is unclickable. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm not sure if this would matter, but I'm not an administrator. My dad is, and his spell check works, but I'm not sure why it would affect that.
