When I do a search for repair DLL loads of sites come up - but once I've downloaded the tool it reveals all the problems but then asks for the money to fix them - does any know of a truly free site. A virus has attacked some files and I can't get into certain programmes even to uninstall!

The tool lies, it just wants your money - if you pay it won't fix your problems.

You cant repair the dll's you need to reinstall the programs or if the virus damage is bad you may need to reinstall windows.

If you have a corrupted DLL file which is a Windows System File you can download it at www.msdn.com.
