Cannot get yahoo mail account linked with my outlook. I entered Incoming:pop.mail.yahoo.com.;Outgoing:smtp.mail.yahoo.com;still recieving error message; Why?

No, you have to pay in order to receive email from Outlook. But checking your emails from yahoo.com is free.

A free Yahoo! Mail account does not provide POP3 access. In layman's term, you can not download email messages from your Yahoo! Mail account to Mircosoft Outlook. You can upgrade your account to Yahoo! Plus, which will cost you $19.99/ year, or you can use YPOPs for free.

Yahho mail will not Sync with Outlook. You have to purchase the premimum edition, which is $19.99 a year

yahoo is so f'd up now. there was a time when it was free.
doesn't make any sense. they screw up the look of the whole page etc.
