I have put my cd's in my computer and ripped them into my windows media player, but how can i go on line and download songs into my media player?

Whenever I put a blank DVD or blank CD in my disc drives my computer restarts automatically. Normal DVDs and CDs don't affect it, it's just Blank discs.

I want to get a computer that will run games, so it would be a gaming computer I am looking at. I have a price limit of 600 dollars. I saw some deals at Bestbuy and circuit city for branded packaged comps for like 500 dollars. looking for expert advice here. I heard that buying each part and assembling it yourself in not always the best answer. Help me out?

I would like to open a free email account (if any is available) that allows me to download my email to a folder on my computer so that I can read the email while I'm offline and also be able to move them around on my computer or save them to a removable drive. I used to have one such account with EdsaMail but they have switched from free email to being a paid one. Any recommendations?

This is all Microsoft is talking about. Has anyone used it? Is it worth having? I recently switched all my applications from MSN to Yahoo...but now I am thinking about switching back. Yahoo just has too much crap that I don't use or like. I mostly hate that Yahoo found a way to block us from using a true email client to check email. I hate webmail applications

I got a netscape cd from my local wal-mart.I downloaded the cd everything was going fine until it asked for my settings.I need to know why I cannot get my settings changed from lan/cable to what I use witch is DialUp When I download Netscape it tells me i am using Lan or cable.I tried everything Netscape told me to do to fix this but still is not fixed can someone help please.Also what is Netscapes Mailing address I need to send them a letter through the postoffice.

Hey there! I just bought a mac computer two days ago, and im still conditioned to the windows computers. Is there any advice you'd like to give me? XD Such as how to copy and paste text from websites? (That ones been giving me trouble -___- ) And can you print screens? Also, are their anti-virus softwares?

There r some really great deals going on for some very "nice" computers. I found a desktop 2 GB RAM with a 250 GB harddrive, AThlon 64X2 dual core 4600 with flat panel monitor, surround sound and printer for $830. Mine is a dinosaur and crawls slower than dial-up with dsl. Should I buy a computer now while prices are low or wait 2 or 3 months till vista arrives? apple or hp? The apple--not sure of specifications but it is over $200 more just for the lowest priced pc and I do not know how to start in repairing one myself and have never used it. My main goals--are one that does not crawl with the internet-and one that can handle mass family photos---mainly to scan and put on disk....my scanner handles negative's as well as pictures.

My laptop is basically wrecked. I tried to fix it, but there's no solution. I tried system restore, but that failed. Basically, I can only open it using safe mode. I'm going to pull off my important files onto a backup drive, but after I do that I want to wipe the system back to how it was from the factory. What's the best way to do this?
