Tools
Internet Options
Clear Cookies
Delete Files (offline)
Clear History
set days to keep pages in history to 0
There is a downside: When you delete cookies, some programs or goodies you downloaded may or may not work, pictures may or may not become X’s the next time you open the file, etc.
It’s your choice to make.
You can also:
Click Contents tab: now click the content tab, click to clear auto complete, click to clear forms.
Where it says use autocomplete, uncheck all the things you dont want your browser to store. This way you won’t have to keep going back and clearing things out. Good luck

Hey for your browser go to "tools, internet options", at the bottom of the screen you will see a "history" box, in that box click the "clear history" button, then below that click "apply" box.
For yahoo, right click on the "yahoo" tab on your browser tool bar and select "clear search history".

well if ur using ie (internet explorer) and just want to clear the dropbox that shows up when u search just click tools\internet options\content\then under personal information click on the 'auto complete' box and 'clear forms' if ur using Mozilla Firefox as ur browser (which i prefer as it is safer and better in my opinion) just simply click tools\clear private data

I use the clear history, delete files under "Tools"...then you might want to defragment your computer.
