Ok, about 2wks ok, I chatted with this guy on yahoo games. Then all of a sudden he leaves the room. So i wonder what exactly happens, but I totally dismiss it. Then they next day my browser is set to the homepage theuptodatesafety.com and a bunch of little warning pop up at the bottom right of my screen. So, I talk to my uncle who is a techie, so my problem is fixed, but I have some doubts about my computer, and I believe that is being hacker or I am somehow being stalked. Could someone please give some tell tale signs of how i can determine if my computer is hacked. I really feel strange about this guy be he is also on my messenger list. He is also very guarded about his past, and never really says anything about himself or his name . Am I being too paranoid, or is this normal. Btw, when the guy left out of the chatroom, I assumed he just left by accident. Please help!!!

what is processor stepping like E3 or E6? Also, if im not a gamer, is a video card which was very good 2 years ago going to make a difference if i upgrade to 128 bit? I use adobe photoshop sometimes but im not really a gamer per se.

i have a hp laptop that costed 700 or less and a gatway laptop for 600.
my hp sufferd a 4 ft fall witch caused the sensoers to funky and afterwards got a branspakin new widescreen multimedia gateway witch had a mothered board problem after 1 full week
so i had it traded for a new but same type of gatway. 1 thing im conserned with this new computer is that it not responding to my hp printer or my printer isnt comm. with my laptop

the printer worked for other cp's

he put in a new hardrive. now it keeps saying no operating system found? we cant even install windows 98 back on it because it just stays in a:/> cant find d drive or cd-rom says no drivers? we cant install drivers if we cant get the darn cd-rom to work. also says we need to partition the drive? from ms-dos prompt run fdisk? heck we cant get to ms-dos ? any help we would be so thank full
