My sister has burnt a CD for me, but when I go to 'My Computer' and wave my mouse over it, it says 0 bytes. Why is this? I can play the trakcs in the CD, but I can't rip them to my computer. I want to rip them with Windows Media Player so i can copy them onto my iPod. Any ideas?

A mate told me that I had tons of probs with his PC when he was using a copies of windows he got from the net. After he bought the real thing his PC has been running smoothly. Does that make sense to anyone. My head says that if it's a pure copy or iso image of the original, then it should work the same???

I have been put in a unique position where i work. I am currently working as a tech support person, but have spoken to my manager about career progression. He has come back to me and said that i can pretty much decide what i want to do, and go train for it, i am currently an MCSA on Windows 2000, but fancy getting into either IT Security or Systems Analysis. I transfered to Devry and they put me into a Technical Management program because more of my credits transfered.

By the completion of my degree I will still know as many programming languages and I will have several certifications. But the degree will be in Technical Management, NOT Computer Information Systems.

so before I go and waste my money on a degree that will be useless... the most important question of all is "will I be able to get a job as a computer programmer with this degree?"
