Computers & Internet - 29 September 2006

On one of my computers at work, I uninstalled Yahoo Messenger and all of its components. However, when I start the computer, the messenger sign on screen still comes up. I've tried numerous things to get if off but it still comes up. It doesn't really bother anything on the computer, but its annoying. Can anyone help me? I took it off this computer so the employee wouldn't be able to use it at work. Thanks!

I am bombarded by junk mail daily. I have blocked address and also have nortons which is suppose to protect my computer. What the heck happened? Am I on some list that I am not aware of?Should I create a new address? Any advice would be helpful !!!

This is a simple question that I'm sure has a simple answer but my little paperclip guy is not helping me. Oh how I hate Excel. I'm working with a worksheet I did not design and all I want to do is be able to hit the enter key while entering an address without it moving the cursor to the next box down. I've tried tools-options-edit but that only gives me the option of where to move the cursor when enter is hit. How do I just turn off the enter key moving the cursor to another cell?????

OK' here the deal. I am trying to fix a PC, but what happens is I get Windows xp to just start loading and then the screen goes black. So I rebooted and held down F5 to boot in safe mode and it just locks up. If anyone has any ideas on what the culprit could be please let me know.

I was searching for an old cd on the internet and found it on a bunch of sites I never heard of. It's also on Amazon.com and I know that they're a reputable company. I've used store credit cards on the internet, like Gap and Kohls, but I've never used my Mastercard for a purchase on the internet. I guess I'm nervous because a store card can only be used at that store's site but a Mastercard can be used anywhere. Should I be worried?

I had an Earthlink account awhile back.Their incentive to join was a free digital camera.I joined and received my free digital camera.Since then I have lost the CD with the software on it.Does anyone know how or where I can get the software again?
