I had a desktop and now have a laptop. I like the laptop better.

A desktop computer will work a lot longer then a laptop will with out geting to a heated up point of shutting down on burnning up
plus once they break it is almost impossible to repair them

If you're asking this question then you most likely don't need a laptop. Get a desktop.
It's less likely to be stolen, they're generally faster, the monitor can be bigger (without buying an additional one). The quality is generally better. You don't have to fool around with wires. It easier to upgrade with more memory or bigger drives. You won't run the risk of dropping it. The keyboard is normal. You can get better speakers with surround sound.
Laptops are pieces of junk that few REALLY need.

It depend wether u want to take it with u or not...
A desktop computer is usually faster and easier to upgrade.
But obviosly a laptop u can take anywere.
Depend on what u need it for!

It depends on the use and price you are willing to spend desktops are cheaper but if you are going to travel a lot laptops are better.

laptop definitely......costs about the same but its sooooooo portable.
