Define bombarded.
If you give out your email address (IE: You sign up for a newsletter @ Ikea.com or Quizmaster.com or something) Yes, they'll sell your email address (and it will get passed around). So it would make changing your email address pointless because after awhile, it will get to the same point your currrent one is at.
Maybe you need to try a different email service. Try Google if you can get someone to invite you. Their spam filters are fabulous.

Yahoo allows you to create a "pretend" email address (check under Spam in the Options). But I can send you a Gmail invite if you'd like to get a Gmail email account.

I get that a lot too...it's like you can't really hide from junk mail no matter what we do. Sometimes getting a spam blocker helps, or like Norton Antivirus or something. Getting another email may help for a little while.

any time u visit a web page, you almost always get pop up windows and at the same time get junk mail. Thats what nice about yahoo's bulk folder. you only allow ppl from your address book to ur inbox, and the rest goes to your bulk folder. once there, just empty it. Voila, all gone.

Its usually best to have two addresses. Keep one as your personal address for friends, family, official correspondance etc, and the other for signing up to websites, newsletters, etc.
