I need to know how to enter a voided check in QuickBooks 2006, please help me

Click on Check Button
Bring up the check you wish to void on screen
Go to Edit pull down menu
Click on Void bill pymt - Check

In the check register just type in VOID as the Payee and zero for the amount.

go to your register and click on check number and than edit and click void check
or go to find check and who it was written to and than edit and void check

I always used the check # and $0.00 - knowing that was my que for void.

im using quickbooks right now.
i think its something to do with banking, or invoices... who writes cheques these days? are you my grandmother?
