Ok...I had this PC built this summer...xp installed. Before all the updates from windows, it worked with the mic and speakers. Afterward, the only way to hear was to plug into the modem directly.....And the mic won't work now either...not even in the modem. I have tried the wizard and test....everything...anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong or even how to fix it? Thanks in advance for all of your help!!!...ps....it won't let me pick computer as the category...grrrrrrr yahoo!!!!!

I am pretty sure I have a virus, but my norton will not pick it up, and I am pretty sure I got it in here as a few weeks back I clicked on something someone put intheir question and my computer restarted.
Here are the problems. We use windows XP
The registry keeps having problems, everytime I run the registry mechanic, it picks something up, Norton won't allow me to fix anything with the disk doctor, but I can run it to diagnos, but it won'tcheck or fix errors in the Security descriptors, and skips file data and surface text. Today, my norton closed by itself, andI cannot run my kodak easy share program. The kodak program will open in safe mode, but not on normal mode. Any ideas, suggestions, please help my. I really want to get the kodak program to work as we got married this weekend and I want to tranfer the pictures

I got a new 250gb hdd, it is a thrid disk ide 2 master, in the system bios it is 250gb but when i go to my pc or disk mangenmet its only 128gb i have fromated it and still only got 128gb. what do i need to do to get the full 250gb. Thanks

Attempting to install new laser printer, after solving installation probs with a friend's help I cannot get my computer to talk to printer. When I try troubleshooting, I get the message: The printer subsystem in unavailable. Don't know if friend deleted something important, can't find in recycle bin. Windows help index has no listing. Any ideas?

Every option that I have been given Ie use the add/remove programme dont work The patch from the symnatec website dont work .I cant delete any of the files because an error occurs.I have bought 2006 it has no patch .So I have spent £30 on a dud.Get me a solution now or maybe it's time we got angry with these people and did something about it.

the amount of data I upload and download?
ie: if i download about 2gb of data over my connection in a day, i want a program that will tell me "You've downloaded 2gb of data today!"
