That depends on your e-mail client, and a host of other issues. The first thing I would check would be your SMTP settings. Make sure you've got the right SMTP server, that you can authenticate (username/pasword) on the SMTP server, etc. Commonly, people forget that most SMTP servers require authentication, and don't check the box. POP brings mail in, SMTP sends it out. If you can receive, but not send, the problem is with the SMTP side of your e-mail settings. Either that, or port 110 is blocked by your firewall.
