My company will let me have Norton Anti Virus Corporate Edition for free. Is it as good as the one I can buy off the shelf?

Just because something is 'Corporate Edition" does not necessarily mean it's best. I say this because office networks are very managed. I need a good IT person to stear me right!

I need two of these:
2GB DDR2 SODIMM 200-PIN memory stick.

Each stick must have 2GB as I want to give my computer 4GB of RAM. I am not interested in a pack of two 1gb sticks. I need 2 sticks of 2GB each. Can anyone give me a direct link as to where to find the best ones?

Also, I need a bag for a 20-inch screen laptop, can anyone recommend me one? Thanks a lot for your help, you're saving my life.

i have recently bought an AMD truion laptop. i have tried to install windows XP with a bootable CD. but every time i try it its showing a message "NTLDR missing press alt+ctrl+del to restart". with the same CD i have installed in other sys. wats the problem and how can i rectify that. please help me as soon as possible. thank you.

Its a flashing ad and it alters between some THING, like, a creepy distorted monster and a white strip with a yellow and black borer and it says " Warning! Do not clcik here if under 18. Banned in (a number) states!" What does it show you?

Yes I have them directed to the junk folder, but I have been opening some in order to build my blocked addresses collection. I happened to notice that most are not addressed to me, but to similar yahoo addresses, and recently I have been getting spams that are addressed to yahoo accounts that are not even close to mine. I have emailed yahoo several times about this and have yet to get any response.

The average house has a TV, a phone, and soon a computer. The average person has no idea how these things work. What is happening? Shouldn't people who are so depandent on cars be able to know at least a little bit how they work? Or how a TV works? What happens if POOF! All the smart people are gone, and no one knows how to make these things anymore. What would we do? This computer I'm on right now, typing this question; I'll bet only about 10% know how to make one, or how it works. Does anyone know how to make a lightbulb? (Not how they work, because they are just a vacuum of glass with a filiment in it which lights up when a current is run through it; but how to make one? With glass and equipment and stuff). I don't know how my iPod works, or how my computer works, or how my car works, or how a rocket ship works. Shouldn't we at least know how our every-day items are doing what they do? Studies show that 86% of all houses have a refridgerator, and that only 14% know how they work.

I'm helping a friend fix an Inspiron 600M which he got used form a relative. Everything seem to be working fine except the optical drive. It does not work at all. Upon opening the DVD drive to put in a disk, it comes right out, with only a data cable attached to the laptop. Is this normal or does he need a new drive? The same type of drive is used on Inspiron 300 M, Inspiron 500 M, Inspiron 8600, Inspiron 9100, Inspiron B130, and Inspiron XP6. Do you have (or had) one of the above and can the drive, under normal use, completely separate from the laptop when you open it to put in a disk?

Have perfomed Norton Virus check already - nil detected! But pages jump back to to last visited page, text gets highlighted without me doing it, when writing text, like now, the cursor moves to early text and messes up my answers, window minimised with no warning etc etc. Only started today, not sure if only on Firefox or not, or if it is my laptop that's the problem.

I am wondering what the best internet secuity suite there is, one that will have firewall, virus scan, spyware scan & spam guard that works good and will not slow the computer down so much? The one I am using makes my computer so slow that it's ridiculous, when I take it off my computer I immediately have spykeylogger on it and viruses out the wazoo. Can someone recommend a product they are using that works well?

I tried to use widows media player but every time i select the songs it say the file maynotfit and every time click sychronize it says:Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available.

iTunes on my computer doesn't seem to recognise my iPod. It must be the software rather than my hardware because if I go to another computer also with iTunes 7 it works perfectly. Also, the iPod shows up on My Computer. I've done everything on the apple website (what they call the 5 rs) including uninstalling and reinstalling the software, resetting and restoring my ipod etc. Very occasionally, if I restart the computer or go into "Manage - Services" and restart the iPod service, the ipod will show.
When I uninstalled I was sure to get rid of everything, delete the folders in program files and then delete the recycle bin. However, it seems there must be something I have missed if this software problem is persisiting - maybe in the registry? Maybe someone here can help me delete it all from there?
I also wonder whether it's something to do with the computer thinking it's a drive because it automatically opens the files on the iPod in an explorer window. I tried changing the letter.

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. My "1" key fell off of the keyboard and I lost it. It still works, but I'm pressing the sensor thing that is typically underneath the key. How do I go about this? Do I get a whole new keyboard or is there a way to just get that specific key sent to me from Dell? If you could provide a link/phone number and some advice that would be fantastic.
