I want to save space by placing my desktop Compaq sideways on a shelf. The shelf is not tall enough to place the cpu in a normal upright position. Will I harm my computer operating it this way?

I am trying to reformat and reinstall windows me. I have the code cd and boot disk. But when I started to try to format it told me that it was reading the D drive but nothing was in the drive. So how do I go about it?

I have working knowledge of dreamweaver, fireworks and Photoshop and limited theoretical knowledge of networking. I really want to pass the ciw foundations exam.

Do I need to attend a college or online training course or should I find material that covers this exam and study on my own pace?...What is it more effective, less expensive and less time-consuming? Could anyone suggest specific reading material?

I mailed a package to a guy several weeks ago, and he mailed me a money order. I never received the money order, and he said he never received the package. So, who knows if he's lying or not, but I'm wondering if there's nothing I can do about getting a refund for the full price. It was $300 item! I know it was my fault about not getting a tracking number, but I didn't think about it at the time. Does anyone know if there is a way to get my money for the package? I thought PayPal or E-Bay would guarantee stuff like that if the buyer said he didn't receive the package.
