I mailed a package to a guy several weeks ago, and he mailed me a money order. I never received the money order, and he said he never received the package. So, who knows if he's lying or not, but I'm wondering if there's nothing I can do about getting a refund for the full price. It was $300 item! I know it was my fault about not getting a tracking number, but I didn't think about it at the time. Does anyone know if there is a way to get my money for the package? I thought PayPal or E-Bay would guarantee stuff like that if the buyer said he didn't receive the package.

Talk to Ebay and Paypal and keep trying to get the money! Ebay sometimes will force the person to pay.

PayPal is out because it was not used. You could file a complaint with eBay, but little will be done. You can get the buyer's contact information from eBay (phone number, etc) but then eBay would also give your info to the buyer.

I am guessing you will just have to live and learn.

It is totally acceptable to not ship an item on eBay until you receive payment. I suggest you follow this practice in the future.

Cantact Ebay is my answer to that and contact paypal. You should also see how good the guy is. You should see if people like him. To do that click on his username and it will say how many good ratings he has had and how many bad he has had.
