I can print when directly connected to the printer, I want to print from a MacBook Pro over the network to the printer which it typically connected to my wife's Win XP machine.

I just bought a 16x dvd-rom drive from compusa and after i installed it and restarted the computer the drive won't open and the light keeps blinking green slowly. if I manually open it with a paper clip then try to close it it opens itself. Please help

My 10 year old is a pretty good student so he can probably grasp concepts slightly beyond his age. And like most kids, he has been playing computer/video games for a while now. He likes Runescape and Star Wars Lego II. He recently has expressed interest in creating his own game. I'd like to encourage this without overwhelming him with too advanced of a programming language. Logo seems out of date. Not sure what else is out there. An example game he would like to put together is a computer chess or checkers game with graphics. I was thinking of "Samuel's Checkers" for the strategy part. No clue on the graphics/language.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I called my dsl tech support and they said there was a virus going through internet explorer shutting it down,they recommended installation of either Mozilla Firefox or Netscape Navigator ,which is better?I installed Mozilla but it won't let me download games without using internet explorer.

Get this I can watch youtube videos once they download a whole hour later... but I cant watch yahoo or aol video clips.. its just a green box.

I'm a big guy with really big hands and it would make my life a lot easier if keyboards weren't so sensitive .I often accidently hit keys that send me into cyber -hell, which is a place that I have trouble escaping from.
