This possible be your battery on your motherboard
Computers do have a watch type battery on the motherboard
and this battery keeps the bios settings, time set up correctly
If a battery goes flat you will find that the clock is wrong and the bios will not remember its settings.
It can be very easy to look on the motherboard remove the battery and replace it with the same type

As you have a wired Keyboard/Mouse I cant think of anything else that is using a battery

First back up your system,
Before the battery goes dead or close enough
to make no difference. The battery is what keeps
your BIOS when you turn off or unplug the computer.
If your not sure then take your computer to a shop than can replace the battery. It is like about as big around as a quarter and maybe the thickness of two nickels stacked up.

Dells.... What to do with them... Anyway, it just sounds like you have something set in "laptop" mode. Dell uses the same almost everything for desktops and laptops cause it cost money to have seperate stuff so your computer is trying to detect a battery, when it can't, it just says its low. It could also be your mother board battery its talking about, but those usually don't drain, they just go. To fix it go to your power options and play around there.

Even desktops have batteries. They are regular AA style batteries that keep power to the system clock. Just open the computer up and replace them.
