I cannot download Yahoo Messenger on my computer. I uninstalled it because at a time if people called me I wouldn't hear them. Ever since, I can no longer reinstall it. I do not know why.

I reformated my computer using my windows xp cd. but now its like it cant detect my ethernet cable which is in my computer which goes to my router which goes to my modem. How do i fix this its like the local area connection is not there. I need to install Service Pack 2 and all the other updates but this should be working allready shouldnt it? whats wrong how do i fix this, its a cable modem to a dlink router which connects to my comp. via a ethernet cable.

i opened up the hard drive and it was blank everything was gone even the secure and compress folder that was on the hard drive when i got it was gone i only got the damn thing 2 days ago and i put a lot of files on it is there any way of getting the files back?

it a 250gb freecom classic sl external hard drive .
i went into start/my computer then i right clicked and then properties and went into tools and tried the error checking but nothing happens and it wont let me defregment it is there a tool that i can download that will restore everything i have lost

has anyone used the above card as i am looking for a lo-cost graphic solution and this one seems to support direct 9,and has pixel and shader model 3.0 my current one is a radeon 9250 which only has p + s model 1.0

I have one phone line ATT/SBC and would like to avoid unplugging to phone line from DSL directly to fax.. I'm disabled and have many forms that can not be sent via email, (privacy law), and need to respond immediatley.. I don't want a dedicated line... $$$$$

I have deleted localnet via the add & remove program, yet a lot of files, directories, folders still remain causing conflicts with my Yahoo service. At times localnet appears instead of Yahoo whenever I log into Internet Exployer. Got any suggestions? I would appreciate them greaty. Thx, sals70

okay, I'm not too good with PHP, but I've been trying my best. So far, I have something along the lines of this:


$img1 = "http://www.pic.com/pic.jpg"
$img2 = "default.jpg"

now I want $img1 to load as the image, but should it not be able to load (the hosting server is offline, picture was deleted, etc.) then it will display $img2. I can't seem to put together a workable code, though I think it probably utilizes the "if", or "else" conditions. If at all possible could someone show me what the code is??? I've been up all night trying to figure this out!

Is there any command-line utilities privided by Microsoft (That is normally installed with Windows XP/ 2003 Server or shipped with it) that could kill the TCP connections in a command prompt box.

I guess it maybe kind of done with "netstat" or "netsh". By the way, I am not Interested in 3rd party tools (Thanks).
