You can finance a computer...if you have good credit, some companies are willing to give you a computer with no money down...Some to try: Dell, Hewlett Packard, or Gateway...Just call National Directory Assistance((800) 555-1212 and get their 800 #'s directly, call them up-they are all too happy to offer you a computer on credit.
However, if you have bad credit-there are some companies who will still give you a computer if you have a job and a checking account, so they can take out their monthly payments automatically...I don't know the name of the companies-there are quite a few of them-just type "free computers with bad credit" in the yahoo search engine, and you should be able to come up with something.....hope that helped! Good Luck!

Some people might be willing to donate an old computer like a Pentium 2, or maybe even a Pentium 3. Maybe there's some place in your city where you can post an ad, asking if anyone is willing to donate (recycle) an older computer.
HINT: Use the work 'recycle', because you'll get the attention of 'environment-friendly' people.

I wouldn't recommend letting companies take money out of your bank accounts. You don't get the computer until it's paid off. Go to like Rent A Center or Rent Way, or something like that. You don't need credit. They don't even check your credit. You just have to have a job, proof of where you live, and a few liable references (family members are included).
