Im looking for a download that will allow me to scan a document and use it in word, I use photo express at the moment but i cant use that in word files...is there another program that will allow me to scan in something and insert it into a word document file?

word has a import option
use this to import from scanner
if this does not allow you to do this I suggest you change to coral word perfect which allows me to import from scanner and amend any text documents

ABBYY will give a trial edition that switches to a limited version after 15 days:

I don't know if the limited version will do Word files, but the cut-back version of ABBYY that came with the scanner I use at work does.

Ive been told to use the entire adobe program, It's not very user friendly though! I have same prob!
