How to add songs 2 mp3 player.?

I tried to use widows media player but every time i select the songs it say the file maynotfit and every time click sychronize it says:Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available.

Make sure the options in WMP are set so it doesn't produce protected files (DRM is off), and it produces MP3 files rather than WMA or some other strange format that most players don't even support.

If your player acts as a USB drive, then create the MP3s first, and use Windows Explorer to put them on the player.
