hi, when accessing some sites like www.yahoo.com, then looking into your DNS cache you find more than one entry... what are those? why?
try this on WINXP:
open a new command window
ipconfig/flushdns
go to ie and open www. yahoo.com
back to the command window and type:
ipconfig/displaydns

what is all that????????????????

All of the cords are connected and functional, I have restarted and refreshed everything...I have turned off the computer and modem, unplugged and replugged the cords. Network settings says enabled, but there is no internet connection (im typing this while at work)...I have also restored the system to a day I know the internet was working. Could I need a new NIC card?

I am a memberships manager and I need to build a database in ACCESS that tells me:
1. Their names and contact info
2. When their memberships expire.
I also want to be able to scan in their original application and see a pop-up when they are about to expire in 24 hours. I would also like to send them an email through the database. Can anyone help?

I just started using utorrent and I noticed that the file I'm trying to download (anime episodes) is coming in really slow. Is this normal? Is there any way to speed up the process. I gave utorrent server right on my firewall so it's not being blocked and I noticed that uploads are coming at 80 mbs which is way faster than my download (i'm on Bellsouth DSL). Are uploaders getting any of my other files on my computer? After I get the full file, do I have to put the pieces together so I can put it on my portable media center or does utorrent do all of this for me? Also I only downloaded utorrent but I read that I should get a tracker server, do I need to do this or does utorrent have one included? This is my first time using bit torrent so I'm quite confused. If anyone could let me know if I'm missing something or if everything is fine I'd appreciate it.

My antivirus found this and said it could not safely remove it. I have scanned since with "Spybot S&D", "Ad-aware SE Personal" and "NoAdware". None of these found it. If you know how to remove this virus or know what it does, could you please let me know. My Pc does not behave any different.
