I have a website that i want to add to the google search so that when i type in "akron" into google my website will show up.

Google crawls the web to look for new websites. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I know that if your website is a link on a website that Google already has, your website should be searchable on Google within a month. All I did with mine was made a few pages that all linked to each other, and put the website link on my Yahoo profile. I don't think it took a week. And it was easy.

You have to submit it to Google and they will index it in a week of so.
