When I try to play DVDs or any films I've downloaded there is a drag in the image that makes it completely unwatchable.

Every three seconds the image pauses and it is really irritating. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Please don't answer this question unless you really know how to help me ...

the screen on my daughters laptop has broken and its going to be repaired. the shop have told us the chances are it will come back wiped only problem is all her coursework is on it. we can save it as the screen is completley blank so we cant see what to do. is there any way of connecting to another computer screen to save it all and how!!!!!!!

frequently when I try to remove my flash disk from my computer error massage appers "The device ' Generic volume' cannot sopped right now. Try stooping the device again later.but It coudnt remove the drive the massage apper again and again I try to scan my computer with Macaffe but the result is the same. what shall I do?

I am having trouble coming up with the formula I need to make my days of the week change when I change the first one. I have done the auto fill but that is not what I need. I need to be able to have the other days change. For instance, when I change, 9/24/2006, then 9/25/2006 will not change. I am just working with a 7 day a week schedule and just need a simple formula for making the rest of the days change consecutively. 10 points will be awarded for the best answer!!!

my computer is all messed up, it is going MUCH slower than normal does. almost every time i go to a new page it says....
"shockwave flash - - the plug-in has performed an illegal operation. you are strongly advised to restart firefox."
alot of times it will close the page and say that it has encountered a problem or something.
and if i watch a video it will freeze up the page and i have to close it.

please explain exactly what is wrong and what i need to do!

Although, I am into software I have very less knowledge of the laptop market and so I was wondering if anyone of you who have done a prior research could help me choose one.

I am looking for a little high end laptop with around 1 GB of RAM and a intel core duo processor, as I would be using it for work.

I heard from adverts but how can this be so? Crappy little postage stamp sized ads that i always ignore or never respond to? How can I convert a char value that I receive from an external data source with a value of '2006926' (supposed to represent September 26 2006 ) to a datetime datatype? Note the '0' is missing from the month. I can not find a way to convert this to a datetime datatype because of the missing '0'. None of the converts or casts I tried could handle this. Is there a way?

I recently started a new website, and have found that none of the search engines are picking it up except for yahoo and they say "site may not exsist" then " go directly to site".......that will take you there...or typing the url directly into the browser will take you there.......but just typing it in as www.thesummerof66.com does nothing......how do i get my site listed in the search engine results.......please help me!!...i have spent alot of time designing the site now i would like people to be able to find it..........guess im dumb.

ok, thanks in advance for ur help. the thing is i'm connected in an open access wireless network but sometimes, although it is connected and all, it doen't open neither firefox nor IE. the message that appears is the same as the one that appears when i'm not connected. how can i be connected and yet not have access? this only happens sometimes, most of the time it functions properly.
