You can check the mail and forward it to the new one. That will be time consuming, but it'll work...

Sure. Open the franny10001 mail. On each message you want in the new mailbox, click FORWARD, and send it to frannywetz.

Your address list is easier. Just start start a new mail to frannywetz, and send it to everyone in your address book, too. That way, you'll have all of the addresses at the new mailbox, and you can just add each one as a contact. (Of course, the big mail you send out will be your announcement that you've changed e-addresses!)

Sorta... Just send things from there to your new one and then let the places that they come from know that your address has changed...
