I know that 802.11g is Bi-Directional.
Is it possible to have 2 systems set up on different frequencies so that one transmits and the other receives, AKA FULL DUPLEX?

No it's not, because your system will associate with only 1 access point at a time. Wireless routers eighter listen or send.. but not the 2 at the same time.. they can also only listen or send to only 1 person at a time.
