my mmonitor is 27 inches but i can only view 2 thirds how can i enlarge sceen?

you see 2/3, is that a smaller rectangle with a black band around? or is it a widescreen and are you seeing 2 black bars on the sides? Anyways, I think you need to find the right driver for your monitor, and to help with that, I need brand and model.
