When I connect wirelessly at home the connection isn't maintained for more than a few minutes, it used to work fine and I have another similar laptop that is able to maintain the connection so I don't think there is a problem with the network or router

I would like to know more about how to build a web framework, what are the pre requistes to build a web framework. we want to have our own extensions and scripting that has to be handeled by the framework. We would like to develope a layer on appache or Ruby.

I even doesnt know wether my doubt is valid or not, we are exactly looking at developing a web framework which can work for our requirments.

I am experimenting on my computer in the BIOS. But I accidentally clicked the Disable command on the Video On-Board. How can I change it back to 32MB because I can't see anything in the monitor. How can I set it back if there is nothing seen in the monitor.

The router is a Linksys WRT54GS (connected to my Cable modem). I have one wired connection to my desktop (which is not on at present) and a wireless connection to my laptop (with an internal Atheros card), which is sitting less than a foot from the Linksys box!

The signal strength is 'Excellent' (as you would expect) but the connection sometimes works for long periods and at other times keeps dropping, sometimes reconnecting immediately and other times needing 'Repair' to reconnect.

It obtains its IP address dynamically. Would I be better off assigning a fixed IP?

Is there anything I can do to understand WHY it is losing connection?

When we used "Dial up" our I.S.P. was Wanadoo, and changed to Orange. Consequentially an "orange" toolbar was downloaded.
On subscribing to Broadband (when it became available) we aquired 2 more toolbars - the B.T. one and the Yahoo one.
As the screen is now half taken up with toolbars, we would like to delete the unwanted ones. Can someone please tell me how to do this?

I've got a new laptop after my pc finally gave up the ghost. It is not exactly at the top end of the market, but is a Fujitsu/Siemens so not a bad brand. But it's driving me mad because everytime I try to type in text, the cursor will suddenly jump up into stuff I've already written, messing it all up. Writing this, it has already done it 3 times. Can I sort this out myself, or is it faulty.

Also, don't know if it's relevant, I am using an external mouse as I can't get used to the integrated one.

for secret santa. I have an office of 30 people and picking names out of a hat is a nightmare. I need an online tool that enables me to enter the names of all my colleagues and then it will give me the names of who is buying for who. We upgraded from a X800 to an X850 but random power loss was happening with the addition of the power demanding X850, so we switched back to the X800 as a temporary solution, now Windows is just a black screen.

The re-replaced X800 will display BIOS and that loading screen with the Windows logo, but the splash screen and desktop all appear as black. There is sound so we know Windows is there.

I just want my AutoCAD to come back!!!!
