Minimum Requirements - Operating System :
Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
It might work, and kevin ? gent states it does work, but Microsoft doesn't say so and therefore doesn't support it. Try at your own risk, as they probably would say. Furthermore:
Effective July 11, 2006, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, and Windows Me (and their related components) will transition to a non-supported status. After this date, Microsoft will no longer provide any incident support options or security updates. Microsoft is not offering a custom support agreement for these products.

internet explorer 7(beta) is only compatible with windows xp,its actually the browser for the new operating system "vista"
i would strongly recommend you upgrading to xp,as me dosent receive updates anymore, and you will be open to all kinds of spyware and adware
even if you do upgrade to xp.i would strongly recommend you not to install i.e 7 as its still a beta program, and lots of users have complained about it,having problems such as not being able to attach files in mail and printing web page problems
internet explorer 6 is still the best browser to date, but why dont you try mozzila firefox(http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/),this is a alternative browser which is compatible with millenium
good luck

The new IE7 is not compatible with windows ME. I think you should upgrade to win XP or Vista, Vista has IE7 installed already. But Vista can make your computer slow because it takes too much memory.

hi, please try a more secure browser.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:
